1. Get moving! Exercise has been shown to boost moods in many people, so it’s a great way to start your day off right. Try walking or running for 30 minutes three times a week. If that’s too much of a commitment, try taking the stairs instead of an elevator. Or take a brisk walk around the block after dinner.

2. Eat well. When you eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, fish, beans, nuts, and seeds, you give your body what it needs to function at its best. The nutrients found in these foods have also been proven to reduce stress levels and lift depression.

3. Focus on something positive. Instead of focusing on everything you don’t want to do, think about one thing you enjoy doing. 16. Take a bubble bath. Baths are relaxing and therapeutic, which makes them perfect for relieving stress. They also help us unwind after a long day.

17. Go camping. Camping is a fun way to spend time outdoors. Pack light and bring along a few activities such as a flashlight, a book, a deck of cards, a guitar, a sleeping bag, a camp stove, a tent, and extra clothes.
