Why Learn English Online?
Learning English online is an excellent way to learn and understand conversational English or even make new friends worldwide. It’s also fun for everyone when it comes time to learn about other cultures and traditions. You may be surprised what little things we use every day that is not always so obvious.
1. Talk to Yourself
When we talk to ourselves out loud, our brains process information differently than just reading something silently. This helps us learn new things faster.
So why not apply this technique to learning English? You don’t need any special equipment; say whatever comes into your head aloud.
2. Practice thinking in English
Learning new Vocabulary takes practice. But it doesn’t take long before you start seeing connections between different parts of speech. For example, nouns describe things; verbs tell us what people do or make happen; adjectives modify nouns and give them meaning. And adverbs show relationships between actions and objects.
3. Get an online conversation partner
You’ll be amazed at how quickly you get better at speaking English after practicing with someone who speaks slowly and clearly.
This works best if both people use their computer or smartphone so that each person has access to their dictionary and translation software.
An excellent place to nd such partners is through Skype.com. If you already know somebody from school or university, ask them to become your friend on Facebook.com and invite them as a contact on Skype.
4. If you forget a word, use other words
“I’m going to go swimming.”
Then somebody else says: “What?”
And you reply: “Swimming!”
This sounds like gibberish to most people. But if you said something like:
“Let me tell you why I am going swimming,” or even better:
“Why should we be doing this activity together?”, then you would make perfect sense.
Many languages use similar structures to express precisely these kinds of thoughts.

5. Relax & have a positive, confident attitude
I’m going shopping tomorrow.
Then somebody else says:
What are you doing tomorrow?
Your answer should be something like:
Tomorrow I am going shopping.
This shows that you understood their question and responded appropriately. If you said:
I’m going to go shopping tomorrow.
They would probably not know whether or not you meant “tomorrow” as in the day after tomorrow or “tomorrow” as meaning next week.
6. Learn Vocabulary
Vocabulary plays a vital role in improving your spoken skills.
There are two ways by which you can increase your Vocabulary. The first one is by using books and dictionaries. The second one is by watching movies and TV shows.
Books and Dictionaries
Reading books and dictionaries helps you build up your Vocabulary.
7. Use visual aids
When it comes to improving spoken English, there’s nothing more powerful than visuals. Visuals help us remember information better because they allow us to quickly process large amounts of data by using different senses simultaneously. They also provide instant feedback, so we know exactly where we stand when understanding something. For this reason, it makes perfect sense to include images and diagrams whenever possible during presentations, meetings, conversations, etc.
8. Practice listening and reading aloud
Listening and reading aloud are two essential components of any foreign language learner’s toolkit because they allow us to practice using new material without worrying about making grammatical errors. Listening allows us to hear ourselves talk and read, allowing us to spot our own mistakes before anyone else does. Reading aloud helps us develop fluency and speed since we don’t have to think about correctly pronouncing every letter.
9. Tongue twisters
Tongue twisting exercises can boost your confidence as well as improve your pronunciation. It sounds simple enough – repeat these tongue-twister phrases back to me: “I am delighted that I met you.” or “My name is John Smith.”
10. Read books aloud
Reading in English helps you develop your listening comprehension, which means you’re more likely to understand what people say around you. Plus, reading in English improves your spelling too.
The Road to Glory: Improving English Spoken Skills
There are many ways to learn English. But one thing remains constant throughout these methods;
They all require practice.
Practice makes perfect!
So, what does practicing mean?
Well, it means going through the same process over again and again until you get better at it.
This can be done by either doing exercises or watching videos.
