  • If there were one thing I could tell people who struggle with sleep, it would be this: get more restful sleep. You can’t work effectively if your brain isn’t functioning correctly. And when you don’t serve well, you won’t perform as well at work or school. So what does good quality sleep look like? Well, for starters, try going to bed earlier than usual and waking up 25 time-saving hacks that will add hours back to your week.

  • If you’re like most people, you probably have trouble sticking with an exercise plan for more than 30minutes at a stretch.   • How it works: When we’re busy multitasking between work emails, social media updates, and household chores, sometimes our attention span gets short.

  • How it works: This trick from personal trainer and fitness expert Emily Schuman helps her stay focused throughout the day. “I schedule myself in 10-minute increments during the workday. For example, if I’m working on something important, I might set aside 30 minutes to focus on it. Then, once I’ve completed what I needed to do, I move on to another task until lunchtime.
  • 6) Let there be light!
  • The sun’s rays can make us feel more productive, but they also cause our eyes to dry out over time. A study found that workers with windows had better vision than those without them. The office chair should not only support your back but your butt as well. You spend about half of your day sitting down, so why shouldn’t your seat do its job? If you’re spending too long on one spot, try moving around every hour or two.
