1) Make sure your screen is square and level
2) Lay out your pieces of solid paper . Each piece is a different size.
3) Print the layers of paper. The most important thing to watch out for is the position of your paper at the beginning and end of each design. You should not overlap any layers, it will make the screen look messy.
4) Your screen is complete! Now you can fold them over and over again with no problem!
5) Print one side first.
6) Weigh the paper and place it flat on your cutting board. This makes sure there is no air bubbles to get trapped in the middle of your design.
7) Cut all layers with a sharp, clean blade (do not use scissors).
8) After cutting, glaze all layers with a clear organic glue that you use for furniture. For our design. The glue will seal the layers together and prevent air bubbles from getting trapped in the middle of your design.
9) Now that you have all layers glued together, lay them on your cutting board to check for any stress cracks (if they happen). Move them around a bit to see if they move at all or if they are still tightly pressed down into the paper.
10) After checking, if you have troubles with your design, gently fold the layers over and over again until the folds are very tight and no stress cracks show up. If all layers are glued together, place them on a clean surface to dry for at least 10-15 minutes before moving them to another clean surface for drying. Keep doing this until all glue has dried. Then stop working on it for a few days before moving it to another clean surface (I do not recommend sanding or doing any of the water work until glue is dry). Hope this helps!
